If you are feeling the pinch from higher grocery bills, utility costs and gas prices, vote for Heidi.
If you feel the Governor and the legislative branches should have listened to the voters when they voted no on HH instead of legislating bills that took 2.8 billion of our Tabor Refunds, vote for Heidi.
If you can see the link between the attack on natural gas and oil and HUGE increases at our grocery stores, gas stations, and utility costs, vote for Heidi.
If you think schools should have a time tested curriculum based on facts-not ideology, and that teaching principles of kindness and respect for ALL people is important, vote for Heidi.
If you feel parents have the right to know if their child changes their gender at school, vote for Heidi.
If you think child sex offenders should not be allowed $1 bail or early release, vote for Heidi.
If you don't blame cars for car accidents or guns for gun violence, vote for Heidi.
If you think we need to deal with the root causes of homelessness instead of throwing millions of dollars into a system that is not decreasing homelessness, vote for Heidi.
If your personal life or business has been effected by the current crime way in Colorado, and you feel you are not as safe as you were two years ago, vote for Heidi.
If we agree on 80% of these issues, we are on the same page and I am the candidate to best represent you.

You feel the pinch at the grocery store, gas pump, paying utilites, and buying or renting a home.
The consistent attack on energy has led to a 30% increase in cost for natural gas and a 54% increase for propane, with families and elderly citizens struggling to heat their homes, feed their families, and put gas in their car.
Taxpayers would rather have the 2.8 billion dollars the government is keeping of our TABOR refunds in our pocket and not in the government's pocket.
With less than 30% of 3rd graders reading at grade level and 70% of 8th graders not being on grade level for math, clearly change is needed.
I am for all choices in education: neighborhood schools, charter schools, religious schools, homeschools. Children have different needs and parents should be able to decide where the best education is for their children and their tax dollars should follow their child to fund their direct learning. This shouldn't be a threat to our teacher unions or to public education.
The transgender ideology being promoted in our schools is not healthy for our children, especially when parents are excluded from conversations and choices their children can make at school. The law says no driving for people under the age of 16, and it's not because kids are too short to reach the pedals. There is an age limit for alcohol consumption too. It's about the decision-making capabilities of minors.
Safety and common sense seem obvious in the following statements:
Biological boys should be in boys' bathrooms. Biological girls should be in girls' bathrooms. Biological boys should participate in boys' sports. Biological girls should participate in girls' sports.
Follow the science.
Colorado is ranked 3rd in the nation as the most dangerous state to live in. In the last decade we were in the top half of the safest states to live in. Now Colorado is at a 25 year high for violent crime.
With Colorado ranking #1 in the U.S. in auto theft, and sentenced criminals serving less than 40% of their sentence, $1 bail and early release for child sex offenders, Colorado has a long way to go to being a safe community.
Funding our police and first responders is a first step towards a safer state.
We don't need to re-invent the wheel. Amsterdam solved most of their homeless problem in the 1980's. Read San Fransicko, written by former democrat, Michael Shellenberger, to see how they did it.
In the US, millions of dollars are spent on this issue, yet homelessness continues to grow. We must address the main causes to truly help people get back on their feet.
This is a lethal dose of fentanyl.
The Democrats in the State House sent a bill to the Senate to provide a safe place where drugs can be used. Let's finance addiction recovery with our tax dollars instead.
Fentanyl deaths are up 900 % since 2019, with over 1,089 Coloradoans dying from Fentanyl in 2023. It's coming across our open borders and is mixed in with other drugs and it's killing our kids.
Colorado is #1 in the nation for bank robberies. Once caught, the robbers list their fentanyl addiction as to why they turned to crime.
Being a sanctuary state and having cities cut millions from police and first responder's budgets in order to provide care for the 'Newcomers' is not in our community's best interest. The crime rate proves this. If an illegal immigrant commits a felony, they should not be released, but have the same consequences a citizen would have or be turned over to ICE.
Putting our hospitals on the brink of bankruptcy and overwhelming our school systems by trying to do everything for everyone is not working for the citizens of Colorado.
I understand why folks will do anything to get to America. That doesn't mean we should have an open-door policy for anyone who wants to live here or that we should finance their living here. What about the hard-working immigrants who have lived here for years and struggle to make ends meet? They are not receiving free housing and food. Nor should they. There is a pathway to citizenship, and that process works, eventually. No one should be jumping to the front of the line ahead of those who've been waiting for years.
Heidi and her twin sister were born in Germany and adopted by American parents who had both served in WWII. The family of six settled in Colorado Springs where she attended school K-12. After High School, she attended Ricks College and earned an associate degree in Sociology. Heidi served for 18 months in the Okayama, Japan mission teaching about Jesus Christ and held weekly English language classes. Teaching on her mission brought a great love for it, and upon her return to the states, she attended Brigham Young University, married the man who always made her laugh, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in education.
Her husband’s job brought them to Thornton in 1985. Aside from living in Germany from 2001-2003, Heidi and her husband, Jim, raised their five children in Adams county.
When her youngest started 1st grade, Heidi became a substitute teacher in Adams 12 Five Star schools, where she worked part-time for 18 years. She has also worked for Major Mom organizers, Chick Fil-A, and After The Stork. She has a business, Heidi's Help, which offers home organizing and tutoring. Visiting her 15 grandchildren is one of her most favorite things to do.
Heidi has been an active volunteer in her community for years. From PTO to D.S.I.T. (District School Improvement Team) in Adams 12 Five Star schools, to OPT president at The Academy of Charter Schools, to being a CASA and awarded the Educational Advocacy Award (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children in the foster care system for the 17th Judicial Office, Heidi has shown compassion and determination in her service. She is currently the House District Chairman for House District 31 Republicans, and conducts trainings and organizes meetings in her community. She also works with youth in her church.
